Cowleaze Wood is high in the Chiltern Hills and is owned by the Forestry Commission. It has lovely views over the surrounding countryside. It is next to the Aston Rowant National Nature Reserve, which is regarded as one of the best places in England to view red kites, which were reintroduced to the Chilterns in the 1990s.
